Web Developer – Shopify & AI Automation

About the role

Nova Niche Ghana Limited is seeking a Web Developer to enhance its ecommerce presence and internal tools. You will work on Shopify stores, automate product catalog workflows, and integrate AI-driven content generation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify ecommerce stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build and automate product catalog data pipelines, including bulk uploads and AI‑generated imagery and copy.
• Set up AI workflows with text models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and image models (Gemini, Imagen) and ensure quality of outputs.
• Create internal web tools and dashboards, integrating SaaS platforms (Shopify, Asana, Google Workspace) via RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, well‑documented code, participate in code reviews, and manage version control with Git.

Required profile

• Relevant certification or degree in web development, software engineering, or a related field (bootcamp, HND, or university degree).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating Shopify or web development projects.
• At least 1 month of professional experience in web development.
