Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in the construction sector. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports and supporting the budgeting process for projects across Accra and Tema.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records and filing systems.
• Analyze financial data and produce management and regulatory reports.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash‑flow statements.
• Develop annual and programme budgets.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Prepare invoices, receipts and other administrative documents.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial analyses as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or related field, or pursuing ICA/ACCA qualification.
• 2‑3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
