About the role
An Accounting Assistant is needed to join the Finance team in Accra. The role suits an early-career professional who wants hands-on exposure to treasury and accounting operations while supporting daily financial activities.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily financial activities, including payment processing, bank reconciliations and financial postings
- Maintain accurate records within SAP
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Manage imprests and retirements
- Ensure transactions are properly documented and compliant with internal procedures
- Work closely with Tax and Compliance teams and support audit requirements when needed
Required profile
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Detail-oriented, analytical and well-organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- SAP knowledge is an added advantage
