Field Cashier

About the role

Ultimate Credit Solutions Limited, a hire purchase company offering equipment to individuals and corporations, is looking for a goal-oriented Field Cashier in Nkawkaw. The role centres on handling cash and cheques accurately and keeping proper records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and make accurate cash deposits and cash transactions on behalf of the company.
• Follow procedures to handle cash and document transactions correctly.
• Enter collected money in the recollection book with the relevant data and obtain customer countersignatures.
• Send the corporate office daily updates on cash and cheques received.
• Bank all collected money within 24 hours.
• Assist with month-end inventories.
• Prepare analytical daily, weekly and monthly reports and present them to the right people.
• Answer customer questions in detail and build trust to close sales.
• Ensure the amount recorded in the recollection book matches the amount banked.

Required profile

• Degree from a recognised tertiary institution.
• At least 2 years of experience in a cashiering role.
• Hardworking and trustworthy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attentive to detail and a team player.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Email.
