Financial Controller (CDI) - CANAL+ Telecom Ghana

About the role

CANAL+ Telecom Ghana is looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the accounting and financial follow-up of the CANAL+ Telecom Africa subsidiary. The role works closely with the Group's Operations & Finance department to develop, implement and improve dashboards and performance indicators. It is advertised exclusively through Group Vivendi Africa in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main link between operational teams, especially the Accounting Department, and set up the tools and processes needed for efficient reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and submit accounts according to the Group's monthly closing schedule, keeping financial data consistent and reliable with business managers.
• Analyse variances against budget forecasts, maintain alignment between cost accounting and general accounting, and manage stock reporting (inventory, valuation, write-offs).
• Take part in budgeting and prepare annual and semi-annual forecasts, build dashboards to track spending commitments and provisions, and update and analyse financial KPIs.
• Analyse, comment on and present financial figures for Business Reviews, and monitor working capital requirements and cash-flow variations.
• Implement local processes based on Group guidelines, carry out ad-hoc financial studies on request of the CFO, and contribute to improving the subsidiary's financial organisation and internal controls.

Required profile

• Master's degree (Bac+4/5 equivalent) in Finance, Accounting or CCA.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in an audit firm or a finance department.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and summarising skills, rigour, integrity, proactivity, teamwork and good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
