AI/ML Digital Trainer Volunteer

About the role

The AI/ML Digital Trainer Volunteer will help the Baiden Etsiakoh Eagle Vision Foundation create and deliver accessible digital training on artificial intelligence and machine learning. This remote, flexible‑hour position is ideal for individuals who want to use their technical knowledge to promote digital literacy and educational equity in underserved communities.

Key responsibilities

• Design simple, inclusive learning materials such as slide decks, video tutorials, and interactive exercises.
• Prepare lesson plans and curate relevant resources for learners of varying ages and technical backgrounds.
• Record or host live online training sessions using video‑conferencing platforms.
• Adapt content to meet the specific needs of different community groups.
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to align training with broader educational initiatives.
• Provide feedback on learner progress and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of AI and ML concepts, including data basics, model training, and ethical considerations.
• Strong communication and teaching abilities, capable of explaining technical topics to non‑technical audiences.
• Comfortable using online collaboration tools (LMS, video‑conferencing, shared documents).
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Commitment to gender‑neutral, non‑discriminatory practices and community development.
• Prior experience in training, curriculum development, or nonprofit education is a plus but not required.
