Analyst – Inventory & Materials Management

About the role

The Analyst, Inventory & Materials Management will execute daily, weekly and monthly materials planning routines for the Obuasi Mine. The role supports materials requirement planning, controls decisions and builds strong relationships with Operations, Maintenance, Warehousing, Procurement and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all materials planning routines and support requirement planning and control decisions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Operations, Planned Maintenance, Warehousing, Procurement and Finance.
• Assess risks for all tasks, report incidents and ensure corrective actions are completed on time.
• Maintain compliance with OHS KPIs and support zero‑incident objectives.
• Conduct critical controls reviews, workplace inspections and hazard observations.
• Account for environmental obligations, enforce procedures and investigate incidents.
• Perform inventory and materials management processes, including cataloguing new materials through ANSI and ANCI processes.
• Implement SAP governance for cataloguing new stock and non‑stock items to maintain quality of the Materials Master.

Required profile

• Ability to assess and control risks before and during task execution.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a mining or industrial environment.
• Proactive attitude towards incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
