Analyst – Inventory & Materials Management

About the role

The Analyst – Inventory & Materials Management will support daily, weekly and monthly materials planning activities for the Obuasi Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent of Inventory and Materials Management, the role ensures accurate material requirement planning, controls inventory levels and collaborates with operations, maintenance, warehousing, procurement and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all materials planning routines and update planning data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Support material requirement planning decisions and control processes across the mine.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Operations, Planned Maintenance, Warehousing, Procurement and Finance.
• Monitor compliance with materials management systems, policies, methods and standards.
• Report performance against targets, KPIs, risks and provide regular status updates.
• Assess and control risks for all tasks, report incidents and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain OHS KPIs, support zero‑incident objectives and conduct safety inspections.
• Account for environmental obligations, conduct reviews, investigations and report findings.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with at least 1 month of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
