Application Security Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for an Application Security Engineer to own and strengthen the security posture of a platform that reads, executes, and modifies customer source code. You will work in a fast‑moving AI environment, designing controls that protect tenant isolation, secrets, and the software supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce security controls for sandboxing, tenant isolation, and workload boundaries.
• Design secrets management, credential handling, and least‑privilege access across the platform.
• Secure the software supply chain from dependencies through build and deployment.
• Implement technical controls required for SOC 2 and enterprise security audits.
• Conduct threat modeling, design reviews, and incident response on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to address enterprise security questionnaires.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience securing production software systems or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to ship code.
• Familiarity with application security, common vulnerability classes, and cloud identity/access control.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort in a fast‑paced environment.
