Area HR Generalist – Accra, Ghana

About the role

The Area HR Generalist will support core HR functions for a regional area, focusing on talent acquisition, workforce relations, and HR policy administration. Working with minimal supervision, the role requires senior‑level expertise to manage complex hiring processes and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake meetings with managers to define job requirements and interview processes.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates, recommending qualified individuals to hiring managers.
• Coordinate the full hiring cycle with internal and external stakeholders, including interview scheduling and pre‑boarding activities.
• Provide training and guidance on Talent Acquisition tools, best practices, and Oracle ATS usage.
• Facilitate workforce relations processes such as dispute resolution, exit interviews, and legal reviews of separations.
• Maintain HR policy administration, interpret guiding principles, and generate operational and ad‑hoc reports.

Required profile

• Member of the Church and eligible for a temple recommend.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of professional HR experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations, especially talent acquisition.

Required skills

• Oracle applicant tracking system (ATS) proficiency.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
