Area HR Talent Acquisition Specialist / Generalist

About the role

This position supports core HR functions for a defined area, focusing on talent acquisition and generalist responsibilities. The incumbent works with minimal supervision, applying senior‑level expertise to manage complex hiring and employee relations matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake meetings with managers to define job requirements and interview processes.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates, then recommend qualified individuals to hiring managers.
• Coordinate the full hiring lifecycle, including interview scheduling, pre‑hiring assessments, and pre‑boarding activities.
• Provide training and guidance to hiring managers and HR partners on talent acquisition tools, best practices, and processes.
• Utilize the Oracle applicant tracking system to track candidates and maintain compliance with Talent Acquisition guidelines.
• Facilitate workforce‑relations dispute resolution, operational risk reporting, and ad‑hoc analytics.
• Manage exit interviews, legal review of separations, and HR policy administration.

Required profile

• Member of the Church and holder of a valid temple recommend.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of professional HR experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field and HR certification are preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations, especially talent acquisition and related best practices.
• Ability to build relationships, consult with leaders, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods and use computer equipment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) competency.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
