About the role
Conduct fire assays and XRF analysis on gold samples. Issue official SGS certificates for export. Work in a state-of-the‑art lab that follows international standards, including ISO 17025. The position supports the preparation of certified assay reports for gold shipments.
Key responsibilities
- Perform fire assay and XRF testing on incoming gold samples.
- Prepare and sign official SGS assay certificates.
- Maintain lab equipment and calibration logs.
- Ensure zero contamination and full traceability of all samples.
- Train junior staff on assay procedures.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in fire assay or mineral testing.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 laboratory standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
