About the role

The Graduate School at Ghana Technology University College seeks an experienced academic leader to serve as Associate Dean. This senior position will guide the strategic direction, quality, and growth of doctoral programmes, ensuring they meet national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Chair the Doctoral Programmes, overseeing curriculum development, quality assurance and research supervision.
• Provide academic leadership for the Graduate School, ensuring alignment with university strategy and standards.
• Mentor and evaluate senior lecturers and faculty members involved in postgraduate education.
• Represent the Graduate School in internal and external forums, fostering partnerships and collaborations.

Required profile

• PhD holder with a strong scholarly record suitable for a senior lecturer appointment.
• Minimum five years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the tertiary level.
• At least two years in an academic leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in managing doctoral programmes or similar postgraduate initiatives.
