About the role
The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Faculty of Engineering. Candidates may apply to any of the following departments: Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics and Statistics.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct and publish research in reputable journals.
- Engage in community service and outreach activities.
- Contribute to faculty development and academic governance.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- Either already appointed as an Associate Professor at a recognized university, or a Senior Lecturer with at least four years of experience and a minimum of ten peer‑reviewed publications.
- Three professional referees with contact details.
