About the role

The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) is seeking a motivated Audit Assistant to support its Internal Auditor. The role will help strengthen the organization’s auditing systems and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in pre‑auditing of expense vouchers.
  • Conduct payroll audits.
  • Support vouching of income and expenses.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual verification of assets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Internal Auditor.

Required profile

  • Bachelor of Science in Administration (Accounting option) or ICA Part 2 (Ghana) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum two (2) years of post‑qualification experience with an accounting firm.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • High sense of responsibility, initiative and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good teamwork, communication and human‑relations skills.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of ACCPAC accounting software (advantageous).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
