Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating and validating backend engineering datasets, code samples and system designs. The role bridges software engineering expertise with data annotation to improve the quality of AI models that work with backend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that represent backend processes, ensuring scalability, performance and reliability standards are met.
• Provide structured engineering feedback and reasoning for each annotation.
• Evaluate server‑side code for performance, logic accuracy and security compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.

• Authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, session management)
