Blending Officer – Production & Quality Role

About the role

The Blending Officer works under the Blending Supervisor to plan daily blending programmes, ensure product quality and maintain continuous production flow at Kasapreko PLC’s Kumasi facility.

Key responsibilities

• Receive the blending programme, create daily activity schedules and enter production orders in SAP.
• Supervise weighing, dissolving and cross‑checking of ingredients against the manufacturing formula.
• Perform daily scale calibration checks and verify batch dosing module volumes.
• Request sugar and acid from stores, prepare syrups and monitor CIP initiation with the on‑duty engineer.
• Analyze blends, record parameters, liaise with QA and manage documentation of returns and re‑work.
• Control access to the blending hall, monitor FA tanks, receive concentrates via INDAG systems and ensure RO water availability.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Food Science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in food processing or bottling, including at least one year in syrup‑room operations.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP) for production order entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• General ERP system competence.
