Business Development Executive

About the role

Aethera Training Consultancy is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to expand its client base across Africa. You will own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, working remotely while collaborating with the Dubai headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential organisations and decision‑makers in Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and the wider region.
• Build and manage a personal sales pipeline using LinkedIn, email, calls and networking.
• Understand client HR, L&D and procurement needs and match them with Aethera’s training solutions.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Foster long‑term relationships for repeat business and partnership growth.
• Attend client meetings and travel locally when required.
• Handle unexpected requests, find practical solutions and adapt to shifting priorities.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Proven track record in outbound prospecting and closing deals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable engaging senior decision‑makers and working independently.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and results‑driven.
