Co‑founder – Business Development & Strategy

About the role

Sua Pa AI, an EdTech startup in Ghana, is looking for a Co‑founder to lead business development and strategy. This full‑time, on‑site position in Accra will shape the company’s vision, drive market research, build partnerships, and support fundraising efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall vision and strategic roadmap.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and inform product direction.
• Develop and nurture partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, and corporate stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising activities and maintain investor relations.
• Build and manage a small, high‑performing team.
• Coordinate with technical and educational experts to align business goals with product development.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives to acquire users and increase brand visibility.
• Analyze user feedback and market data to continuously improve offerings.
• Represent the company at events, meetings, and community forums.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and research capabilities for data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, inclusive collaboration.
• Solid sales and marketing experience to drive customer acquisition and partnerships.
• Background in startups, EdTech, or education‑focused initiatives is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, resource‑constrained environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
