Commercial Planning Analyst

About the role

The Commercial Planning Analyst supports MTN Ghana's Marketing business by turning commercial, financial, customer, market and product data into actionable insights, forecasts and performance reports. The role enables evidence‑based decisions on revenue growth, product performance, pricing, promotions, investments and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve revenue, cost, profitability and investment models to support product evaluation, pricing decisions and promotion assessments.
• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long‑term financial plans by preparing assumptions, validating inputs and identifying key drivers.
• Analyze financial, commercial, customer, product and market performance data to spot trends, variances, risks and growth opportunities.
• Prepare clear reports, dashboards and presentations that explain performance, highlight emerging issues and track progress against targets.

Required profile

• Analyst position within MTN Level 2, reporting to the Senior Analyst, Commercial Planning.
• Based in the Marketing Department – Commercial Planning, Pricing & Insights.
• Located in Accra, Ghana.
