Company Driver

About the role

The Company Driver will join Dekan’s logistics team in the Greater Accra Region, operating company trucks to move goods, materials and personnel between sites. This full‑time, on‑site position requires safe driving, punctuality and professional interaction with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Transport management, staff and authorized persons safely to scheduled destinations.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any faults.
• Load, secure and unload cargo following company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road‑safety regulations and Dekan’s safety policies.
• Perform official errands and other driving‑related duties as assigned.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of professional driving experience.
• Valid Ghanaian driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of Accra, Tema and surrounding areas.
• Reliability, punctuality, trustworthiness and discretion.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.

Required skills

• Vehicle operation and safe driving techniques.
• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance reporting.
• Route planning and navigation.
• Accurate record‑keeping of mileage, fuel and maintenance.
