Compensation & Benefits Lead

About the role

Prudential is seeking an ambitious Compensation & Benefits Lead to join its HR team in Ghana. You will be responsible for designing, managing and administering the company’s rewards, perks and benefits programs, ensuring they align with business strategy and attract top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package.
• Develop a consistent compensation philosophy that supports the organization’s culture and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation such as pay equity and human rights laws.
• Conduct job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications.
• Lead salary and labor market surveys to benchmark pay rates and benefits.
• Use data‑driven methods to make decisions on direct, indirect and non‑financial compensation.
• Assess employee needs through organizational psychology surveys and translate findings into actionable programs.
• Support the Chief HR Officer in shaping a competitive compensation strategy for Prudential Ghana.
• Communicate compensation policies effectively and track success metrics.
• Perform periodic audits and prepare detailed reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and internal metrics.
• Excellent understanding of Ghanaian labor legislation and global best practices.
• Ability to develop and communicate clear compensation policies.
• Collaborative approach with senior HR and business leaders.
