Contracts Advisor – Supply Chain Management

About the role

Tullow Oil is seeking a Contracts Advisor to join its Supply Chain Management team in Accra, Ghana. The role focuses on managing and optimising Logistics‑Operations‑Maintenance (LOM) contracts for the Jubilee and TEN FPSOs, ensuring value creation, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative contract strategies for LOM contracts, supporting business unit objectives.
• Manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle including tender development, RFP, evaluation, negotiation, award and performance management.
• Oversee contract administration, purchase orders and ensure compliance with internal policies and joint operating agreements.
• Collaborate on local content strategies, engage with the Petroleum Commission and support supplier capability development.
• Provide regular management reports, apply risk and assurance principles, and contribute to procurement planning.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, e‑procurement solutions and data analytics adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in contract formulation, negotiation and supply chain management.
• Professional membership in a supply chain body (e.g., CISCM, CIPS) preferred.
• International exposure to oil & gas environments, preferably Ghana or similar markets.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
