Data And Automation Systems Builder

About the role

THE/STUDIO is seeking a hands‑on builder who can turn vague data needs into functional dashboards, automated pipelines, and real‑time alerts. You will work closely with the core engineering team and an Automation Engineer to own and evolve the company’s entire data ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Architect an AI‑driven data engine that supports natural‑language queries and automated decision‑making.

• Develop end‑to‑end data solutions from raw requirements without formal specifications.
• Implement real‑time alerting to flag process breakdowns instantly.
• Expose stage‑by‑stage timestamps across core platforms to identify bottlenecks.
• Build workflow automations using tools such as n8n or Make, linking raw data sources to reporting.
• Diagnose and fix root‑cause data quality issues at the source.
• Leverage modern AI tools daily to accelerate development and prototyping.
• Create lightweight documentation enabling non‑technical managers to use the tools independently.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability with a high‑processing‑power mindset and business acumen.
• Extreme ownership – takes full accountability for outcomes and drives solutions without excuses.
• Rapid adaptability and willingness to give and receive blunt, constructive feedback.
• Comfortable communicating directly with business leads to extract requirements.

Required skills

• SQL proficiency.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery).
• BI dashboarding expertise (Looker Studio or equivalent).
• Workflow automation platforms (n8n, Make, or custom scripting).
• Daily use of AI tools to accelerate development.
