DevOps Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for a DevOps Engineer to run the infrastructure that powers large fleets of sandboxed agents executing customer code safely and cost‑effectively. You will own the execution layer of our control plane, including Kubernetes, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines and isolation mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate sandboxed environments for defect reproduction and validation.
• Own end‑to‑end Kubernetes, container and compute infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable frequent, safe releases.
• Implement hard isolation boundaries (e.g., gVisor, Firecracker) for untrusted code.
• Instrument fleet health with metrics, logs, tracing and alerts.
• Optimize cost per agent run through scheduling, autoscaling and capacity planning.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, rollback and environment management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure fast and secure infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience running production infrastructure on a major cloud platform.
• Strong judgment on security, reliability and cost trade‑offs.
• Daily use of AI tools to automate operational work.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving, high‑performance environment.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and container orchestration (Docker).
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Sandboxing or multi‑tenant isolation tools (gVisor, Firecracker).
• Observability, monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Use of AI‑driven automation tools.
