About the role
University of Cape Coast is seeking to recruit a Director for the Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance (DAPQA). The Director leads DAPQA, reports directly to the Vice‑Chancellor and must hold a professorial rank.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and monitoring of academic programmes across the university.
- Lead the university‑wide quality assurance system, overseeing all sections and mechanisms that maintain high performance standards.
- Report to the Vice‑Chancellor on academic planning and quality assurance matters.
Required profile
- Internationally acclaimed scholar of a professorial rank.
- PhD in a relevant discipline.
- Considerable teaching, research and administrative experience in a university or comparable institution.
- Strong grounding in the principles of total quality management.
