Director of Grants, Development and Partnerships

About the role

EcoClimate Vision is seeking a volunteer Director of Grants, Development and Partnerships to lead its resource mobilization and strategic collaboration efforts. Based in Accra with hybrid flexibility, the role supports climate‑information dissemination and resilience projects across the Global South.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and evaluate grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Coordinate the full grant lifecycle, from concept notes to final submissions, reporting and compliance.
• Develop and manage fundraising initiatives, cultivating relationships with donors, foundations, corporations and peer organisations.
• Collaborate with program teams on budgeting, financial planning and monitoring of funded projects.
• Produce analytical reports for stakeholders and contribute to long‑term fundraising and partnership strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grant administration, proposal writing and donor relations within non‑profit or climate‑focused organisations.
• Strong program management and budgeting capabilities.
• Advanced analytical skills for assessing funding opportunities and monitoring outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to diverse cultural contexts.
