Director of Human Resource Management & Administration

About the role

The Internal Audit Agency, a reputable public service organisation, is seeking a senior leader to head its Human Resource Management and Administration functions. This executive will shape recruitment, training, compensation, and employee relations strategies across the agency and its audit units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic recruitment, selection, and training plans for the organisation and its public institutions.
• Oversee design and management of compensation programmes and recommend improvements to benefit schemes.
• Coordinate grievance procedures, mediate workplace disputes, and maintain industrial relations.
• Evaluate HR data management technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Review organisational structure, staffing levels, and culture, providing recommendations aligned with the agency’s mandate.
• Lead the development of HR policies, procedures, performance management systems, and welfare & safety policies.
• Serve as chief HR advisor to the Director‑General and senior deputies, preparing annual performance and training reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent; postgraduate qualification and membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., CIHRM).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management within the public or private sector.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to apply digital tools to HR functions.
