Driver Supervisor – Transport Operations

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Driver Supervisor to oversee daily driver activities, ensure safe and efficient transportation, and maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of assigned drivers, allocating drivers and vehicles according to operational needs.
• Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, performance and conduct, and address performance issues.
• Conduct regular briefings on assignments, safety, routes and operational requirements.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained, serviced, road‑worthy and that all documentation, insurance and statutory certificates remain valid.
• Prepare and manage daily driver and vehicle schedules, optimise routes and vehicle utilisation, and respond to urgent transportation changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, preferably obtained between 2022 and 2024, in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
• Valid Ghanaian driver’s licence with a clean record.
• 1–2 years of experience in transport coordination, fleet management, logistics or driver supervision.
• Good knowledge of Ghanaian road safety regulations and transportation practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with fleet management or GPS tracking systems (advantageous).
