Electrical & Energy Management Supervisor

About the role

The Supervisor, Electrical & Energy Management will lead the underground electrical maintenance team at the Obuasi Gold Mine. You will ensure safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operation of low‑ and medium‑voltage systems, power distribution networks and energy‑management assets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and control all electrical low‑ and medium‑voltage work on underground infrastructure.
• Oversee installations, refurbishments and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment to OEM, AGA and national standards.
• Manage power distribution and energy‑management systems to maximise plant availability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and company electrical standards.
• Support the AGA Asset Management Plan to reduce costs, improve reliability and drive operational improvements.
• Deliver safety objectives and uphold zero‑defect quality principles.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with at least one month of relevant experience.
• Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical standards and asset‑management practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
