Electronic Maintenance Technician for Direct-to-garment Print Machine

About the role

The Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Technician will ensure the reliability and optimal performance of Indigo Textiles’ Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing and production equipment. Working on the factory floor, you will carry out preventive maintenance, diagnose faults and support operators to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and daily inspections on DTG printers and related production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and software faults, responding promptly to breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, service records and equipment logs.
• Coordinate major repairs with external service providers and manage critical spare-parts inventory.
• Assist operators with machine setup, calibration, testing and commissioning.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards in the maintenance area.

Required profile

• Diploma, technical certification or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining industrial or textile printing equipment.
• Proven ability to read technical manuals, schematics and equipment documentation.
• Experience with preventive-maintenance systems and maintenance reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under production pressure.
