Estate Officer

About the role

Koforidua Technical University is seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated professional to lead its Estate Department. The Estate Officer will serve as the senior manager responsible for overseeing all estate‑related activities on campus and ensuring compliance with the Technical Universities Act, 2016.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the overall head of the Estate Department, reporting to the Director of Works and Physical Development.
• Coordinate estate operations in line with statutory requirements and university policies.
• Collaborate closely with the Office of Works and Physical Development to plan and execute campus infrastructure projects.
• Maintain accurate records of estate assets, leases, and land holdings.
• Provide strategic advice on land economy, property management, and estate development.

Required profile

• Research Master’s degree in Built Environment, Land Economy, Estate Management or a related field, plus a relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience as an Estate Officer or in a comparable senior estate‑management role within a university or similar institution.
• Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly papers and publications for external assessment.
• Computer literacy and the ability to work independently.
