Experienced Plumber – Embassy Project (Accra & Tema)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced plumber to join our Embassy Project team in Ghana. The role involves completing outstanding plumbing installations, correcting non‑compliant works, and ensuring all systems meet project specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install first‑fix plumbing systems according to contract drawings, approved submittals, and applicable codes.
• Fit and assemble copper, CPVC, PVC, and PPR pipework using approved joining methods.
• Cut, thread, bend, support and secure pipework, ensuring correct alignment, gradients and brackets.
• Install sanitary fixtures such as washbasins, WCs, urinals, taps, mixers, traps, floor drains, backflow devices and water heaters.
• Perform pressure testing, flushing, chlorination and sampling of domestic water systems.
• Maintain accurate records of testing, commissioning and inspection activities.
• Rectify defects, non‑conformances and snag items, and report issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Comply with HSSE requirements, permit‑to‑work procedures and site safety protocols.

Required profile

• Recognised trade qualification with a minimum of five years’ experience on commercial, institutional or diplomatic buildings.
• At least two years of experience on projects built to United States or European codes and inspected by a client representative.
• Proven experience in sanitary‑ware installation to a finished standard.
• Previous work on a United States Government or diplomatic project is an advantage.
