Facilities Coordinator

About the role

The Facilities Coordinator will manage day‑to‑day operations of all facilities across Spyros Limited’s residential estates in Ghana. This full‑time position ensures that buildings, equipment and common areas are maintained to high standards, supporting a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, renovations and remedial works, ensuring timely completion and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards and compliance issues.
• Source, negotiate and manage relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers such as cleaning, security, landscaping and waterproofing.
• Prepare and monitor the facilities budget, track expenditures and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, work orders and asset conditions.
• Provide regular reports on spend, project status and performance metrics to senior management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, residents and tenants on facilities‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or property management, preferably in residential or mixed‑use estates.
• Proven experience coordinating maintenance, safety and building services.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills for interacting with residents, vendors and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and facility‑management tools for scheduling, documentation and reporting.
