Facilities Manager – Accra & Tema

About the role

CBRE Excellerate is seeking a senior Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of medium to large sized sites in Accra and the Tema region. You will support client managers with repairs, investment plans and ensure the smooth running of facilities across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team overseeing building operations, maintenance and daily activities.
• Provide support to Client Managers on repairs, investment planning and capital projects.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching and oversee recruitment of new staff.
• Schedule work, assign tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, reviewing variances.
• Approve vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and review price quotes for parts, services and labour.

Required profile

• Engineering qualification is advantageous.
• 6‑10 years of relevant Facility Management experience.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Proven experience in staffing, training, coaching and performance management.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and drive efficiency.
