Finance Business Partner Specialist

About the role

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) Specialist supports the mine’s management with financial and non‑financial performance management. You will work across planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost performance to provide accurate data for decision‑making and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare rolling forecasts, annual budgets and site/region business plans.
• Analyse cost variances, produce detailed performance statements and flag abnormalities for corrective action.
• Collaborate with operations to assess financial feasibility of new projects and expansion initiatives.
• Run and coordinate cost‑improvement initiatives, providing numbers and coaching to relevant teams.
• Maintain data integrity, develop financial models and support ad‑hoc reporting across mining sites.

Required profile

• Relevant finance or management accounting degree; chartered accountant status or interim stage.
• 3‑4 years’ experience in financial forecasting, budgeting and management reporting, with at least 2 years in mining operations finance.
• Proven experience with advanced Excel and TM1 financial systems.
