Branch Manager – Ho Branch

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Ho branch of Access Bank Plc, overseeing daily operations, sales performance and customer service. The role ensures regulatory compliance, risk management and profitability while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all branch operations to maintain efficiency and compliance.
• Drive sales of deposits, loans, cards and other retail products.
• Deliver superior customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, AML and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage operational, credit and fraud risks within the branch.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to meet targets.
• Coach and develop staff to build a high‑performing team.
• Promote digital migration and self‑service channels.
• Maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit accurate performance and compliance reports.
• Lead cost optimisation initiatives such as lean processes and cash‑in‑transit efficiencies.

Required profile

• First degree in any discipline; a relevant master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional certification (e.g., recognized banking or risk management qualification) is a plus.
• 5–7+ years of retail banking experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and risk management.
