Finance Decision Support Analyst

About the role

This position is a critical analytical partner within the Technology business unit, providing precise financial oversight and strategic insights to support leadership decision‑making. Working closely with the Technology Finance Business Partner, the analyst ensures accurate reporting, robust budgeting, and reliable forecasting for technology operations and telecommunications finance.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate creation of annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans for the Technology function.
• Maintain and improve budgeting and forecasting models, guaranteeing data integrity and timely updates.
• Perform month‑end variance analysis to explain performance deviations against budgets, forecasts and historical data.
• Prepare and distribute periodic financial reports and performance dashboards for Technology leadership.
• Validate business cases, investment proposals and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis.
• Lead cost‑benefit, ROI and post‑implementation reviews for technology projects.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities and efficiency gains.
• Provide guidance on OPEX and CAPEX decisions and track technology cost centers for early risk detection.
• Collaborate with Technology stakeholders to deliver targeted financial support and translate complex data for non‑financial audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting within a technology or telecommunications environment.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis and interpreting complex financial data.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of OPEX and CAPEX management principles.
