Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial function of Shelter Crest, a fast‑growing Ghanaian FinTech focused on PropTech and consumer finance. Based on‑site in Accra, you will ensure the company’s financial health, support strategic decisions and drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Monitor the customer financing portfolio and perform detailed financial analysis.
• Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and Ghanaian regulations.
• Collaborate with operations, product and senior leadership to design pricing models, assess risk and optimise profitability.
• Support audit activities, improve financial processes and mentor junior finance staff.

Required profile

• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis within a FinTech or financial services environment.
• Experience with financial controls, cash‑flow management and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets and data‑analysis tools; familiarity with FinTech or lending platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ghanaian financial regulations, especially in consumer finance and property‑related services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICA, CFA) is advantageous.
• Prior managerial or senior finance experience, preferably in FinTech, banking or consumer lending.
