Finance Manager – MFS

About the role

The MFS Finance Manager drives financial performance and strategic decision‑making for the Telecel Cash Function, acting as the single point of contact for all financial matters across consumer business units.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end business performance reporting across all product lines and segments, delivering insights and actionable recommendations.
• Design and implement standardized templates and KPIs for daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance tracking.
• Manage Consumer P&L, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and incentive planning.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through robust deviation detection and quality control mechanisms.
• Lead the periodic budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with finance and business units.
• Provide financial expertise and advisory to business units in a matrix environment and analyze competitor activities to propose strategic countermeasures.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 4 years in middle‑management roles overseeing independent business units.
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced technology or telecom environment and deep knowledge of mass consumer markets.
• Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or MBA from a reputable university.
• Strong organizational, stakeholder management and leadership skills, with ability to influence across diverse functions.
• Understanding of political and business sensitivities in a commercial setting and commitment to long‑term career development.
