Fixed Assets Project Support – Finance (Accra)

About the role

Helios Towers is seeking a Fixed Assets Project Support professional to join its Finance team in Accra, Ghana. You will help maintain the Fixed Asset Register as part of a Physical Asset Verification Project, ensuring that field data aligns with financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with updating and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
• Reconcile field reports with the Fixed Asset Register and identify discrepancies.
• Propose and obtain approval for solutions to address identified discrepancies.
• Ensure asset records are consistently updated based on verification reports.
• Support detailed reconciliation activities for the Physical Asset Verification Project.
• Collaborate with Project and Operations teams to confirm assets are correctly listed.
• Record asset transfers to the correct site on the Fixed Asset Register.
• Identify inefficiencies in fixed‑asset processes and suggest improvements.
• Work with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Projects to deliver accurate asset reporting.
• Support timely reporting against project targets and success criteria.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant with a recognised accounting body.
• Background in Finance and Accounting.
• Understanding of fixed assets and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and make decisions.
• Flexibility to adapt within a project environment.
