Forklift Operator – 5 Open Positions

About the role

The Ghana Railway Development Authority is looking for five skilled Forklift Operators to support cargo, baggage and material handling across its freight operations. The role involves safe loading, unloading and movement of pallets within terminals and stations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage loading, off‑loading and safe handling of cargo and pallets for freight operations.
• Operate, move, stack and organize goods within terminals and stations safely.
• Perform equipment inspections, carry out basic maintenance and keep accurate operational logs.

Required profile

• Valid forklift operator licence/certification (Class F).
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, port or railway operations.
• Physically fit, safety‑conscious and able to work in operational environments.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (Class F certification).
• Equipment inspection.
• Basic maintenance of handling equipment.
