German Translator & Tour Interpreter (Full‑time)

About the role

Forson Communications is seeking a professional German Translator and Interpreter to join its team on a full‑time basis. The selected candidate will travel with a tour leader, providing German‑English interpretation throughout tours that can last from one to 28 days across Ghana, Togo, Benin and Côte d’Ivoire. Accommodation and meals are supplied for the duration of each assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany the tour leader and deliver real‑time German‑English interpretation for participants.
• Ensure clear and accurate communication in diverse settings, including business and cultural contexts.
• Adapt interpretation style to the needs of the group and the nature of the tour.
• Maintain professionalism while traveling across multiple West African countries.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in both German and English.
• Previous experience in interpretation, preferably in travel, business or related environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel for the full duration of assignments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
