Graduate Trainee – Early Careers & Diversity

About the role

The Graduate Trainee – Early Careers & Diversity is an entry‑level development position within the Human Resources Talent Acquisition function. Working under the guidance of a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will support the design and delivery of youth employment programmes, diversity initiatives and university outreach activities across AngloGold Ashanti’s African operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with university career services, engineering departments and student organisations.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for campus career fairs, networking events and recruitment drives.
• Update and manage a central database of target universities, professional chapters and graduation timelines.
• Assist in candidate tracking, interview scheduling and post‑event reporting.
• Support the creation of early‑career branding materials and diversity outreach content.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student with a strong interest in Human Resources and talent acquisition.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external academic partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
