Head of Recruitment – Manufacturing

About the role

Sunda International is seeking a strategic Head of Recruitment to lead talent acquisition across its manufacturing operations in Accra and Tema. You will shape recruitment strategy, build a strong talent pipeline, and ensure the organization attracts the right skilled, semi‑skilled and professional workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement end‑to‑end recruitment strategies aligned with manufacturing growth objectives.
• Oversee full‑cycle hiring for production, engineering, quality, supply chain and corporate functions.
• Lead and mentor the internal recruitment team, setting KPIs and performance standards.
• Manage external recruitment partners, agencies and labor suppliers.
• Design and run campus, apprenticeship and early‑talent programs with universities and technical institutes.
• Strengthen employer branding through job fairs, recruitment events and talent marketing.
• Analyse recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, retention) and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 8–15 years of HR/talent acquisition experience, with at least 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record leading recruitment teams in large‑scale or multi‑site operations.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing workforce structures.
• Expertise in end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle management.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR digital tools.
• Data‑driven analytics for recruitment performance.
