Health and Safety Supervisor

About the role

Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking a competent Health & Safety Supervisor to lead safety operations across its manufacturing plant. The role involves implementing policies, conducting inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and induction programs for staff.
• Ensure compliance with the Ghana Labour Act and safety regulations.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of safety management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana safety regulations and international standards.
• Certification in NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
