Health, Safety and Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Health, Safety and Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the development and maintenance of our Health & Safety Management System and Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with local legislation, client requirements, and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the company's Health & Safety Management System (HSE MS).
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian occupational health and safety laws, client specifications and ISO standards.
• Design and deliver HSE and QA refresher training for all staff.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 17020.
• Oversee inspection processes, equipment calibration and verification to meet regulatory and client standards.
• Review project documentation, inspection procedures and method statements.
• Prepare monthly HSE and quality performance reports for senior management.
• Maintain client satisfaction through high‑quality inspection services and uphold relevant certifications and accreditations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in health & safety, quality assurance, or both within an inspection, testing, engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with ISO management systems is an advantage.
• Female candidates preferred.
• Residence in North Kaneshie or willingness to commute daily.
