About the role
The HR Operations Manager ensures the smooth and effective day‑to‑day running of Sandvik’s HR function across West Africa. You will oversee the full employee life‑cycle, from recruitment to retirement, and support the company’s Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion.
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment, including advertising, interviewing, onboarding and measuring effectiveness.
- Provide front‑line coaching and support to employees and line managers on HR matters.
- Deliver HR expertise in employee relations, development, compensation and organizational development.
- Ensure HR forms and documents are completed accurately and in line with established guidelines.
- Monitor short‑term HR team goals, measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing HR operations and the employee life‑cycle.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
- Ability to coach and support both employees and line management.
- Experience measuring HR performance and implementing improvements.
- Commitment to supporting Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality objectives.
