Human Resources & Asset Manager

About the role

Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Accra, is seeking a Human Resources & Asset Manager to lead all HR functions while overseeing the effective use and tracking of company assets. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure HR practices and asset management align with business goals and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies for technical and non‑technical roles, manage end‑to‑end hiring, onboarding and succession planning.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions and workplace conflicts in compliance with Ghana Labour Act and FDA/WHO/GMP regulations.
• Design performance appraisal systems, set KPIs, and monitor employee productivity and compliance.
• Identify skill gaps, coordinate training programmes and build partnerships with universities and professional bodies.
• Maintain and update HR policies, ensure audit‑ready employee records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee tracking, utilisation, maintenance and reporting of all company assets, implementing digital asset management tools.
• Provide workforce analytics and advise senior management on planning, development and performance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years progressive HR management experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare or manufacturing.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, IHRMP Ghana) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and WHO/GMP regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with HRIS and digital HR management systems.
