About the role
The University College of Management Studies is seeking an IT Systems Administrator for its Accra campus. The role involves ensuring the reliability and performance of the institution's IT infrastructure, supporting both academic and administrative functions.
Key responsibilities
- Provision, install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Manage and monitor servers, workstations, and related network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure security patches and updates are applied in a timely manner.
- Document configurations, procedures, and system changes.
Required profile
- B.Sc. degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Professional certification in Systems Administration or System Engineering for Unix or Microsoft environments.
- Relevant work experience in system administration.
Required skills
- Unix operating systems.
- Microsoft operating systems and server technologies.
